Lefer

“Hi! I’m Lefer, and I love results! My fitness journey began 10 years ago when I was diagnosed with a liver condition that forced me to go from working behind a desk 8-12 hours a day to getting active and eating better. Lost 30lbs doing P90X and Insanity, began teaching those classes on my part time a few years later and made it a full time dream! Now I help others change their lives for the better and live for success stories. Can’t wait to be a part of your success story!”

Hey I’m Tzip! I love fitness because I love challenging myself and the feeling of conquering obstacles I never thought I could. Cycling is my all time favorite form of cardio because it’s so fun! I feel like I’m dancing on the bike (even though I can’t dance off the bike AT ALL) I love cycling so much that I decided to take my obsession to the podium! My motto is that the way we ride our bike, with passion, strength, and joy, is the way we live our life, outside the cycling room. My classes are total cardio parties, I like my riders to be carried away by the music and believe that anything is possible when we commit to our goals. Can’t wait to see you rock it out on a bike!!!

Spinning Vs. Running

by adsegal in Blog 0 comments
Spinning vs Running – Which Is Better Both indoor cycling and running on a treadmill have their advantages, and both go a long way toward improving your cardiovascular health. Many people swear by one or the other. However, depending on your goals, the two exercises are definitely very different and one might better suited for you. Comparing the Calorie Burn In terms of calories, a 30 minute treadmill running session at 6mph for a 155 lb adult will burn around 350 calories. The same size adult will burn around 260 calories in 30 minutes on a Spin bike at a steady pace. However, a Spinning class is much more intense so you can expect to burn anywhere from 400-600 calories if you push yourself. That’s a whole lot of calories. According to Spinning.com “an average 40-minute class at a cadence of 80–110 rpm is equivalent to approximately 15–20 miles on the road.” Spinning on a bike is therefore more likely to burn more calories due to the environment. Consider Your Joints Spinning is also much more gentle on the joints. For people who experience ankle, hip or knee pain, running on a treadmill can put great stress upon the areas […]

How to Stay Motivated to Exercise

by adsegal in Uncategorized 0 comments
According to the International Health Club Association, half of all new health club members quit within the first six months of signing up. In addition, 90% of those who join health and fitness clubs will stop going regularly within the first three months. Many things can derail a workout. You’re too tired, too busy or too stressed. You’re bored with your workout or progressing too slowly. What can be done to stay motivated and help keep you sticking with a long term workout regimen? You need to counteract those excuses by discovering what motivates you, and use these strategies to develop and maintain an active lifestyle. Start by figuring out exactly what you want to get out of your workouts. For example, you want to be around for your kids or you want to feel better about the way you look. Next, determine an attainable goal such as exercising twice per week and once on weekends. Creating realistic goals will set you up for success. If your goal becomes too easy, you can always design a new one. However, just saying you’ll try to work out three times a week isn’t enough. It’s important to choose a specific workout schedule […]
